VT970 Premium Twin-screw Vertical Mixer

Along with all the features of the VT970 twin-screw vertical mixer, the Vermeer VT970 Premium twin-screw vertical mixer is a machine for high-volume operations. It has a thicker floor, thicker walls and thicker screw flighting for low maintenance and high function year after year. Optional stainless steel liners help prevent rust caused by acidic feed rations.

Features:

•  Screw design: Vermeer mixers are known for creating a thorough, consistent mix. This is made possible by the overlapping screw design that works directly with the small, offset baffles on the tub wall. Instead of feedstuffs remaining in one chamber of the twin screw, the screws and baffles work to move the feed between the screws in a clockwise motion.
•  Efficient cleanout: Rations are mixed to be fed, not to be left in the tub. Two bi-pulse legs work with the leading edge of the screw to form three points of contact with the tub floor for efficient cleanout, over mixers with only one or two points of contact.
•  Optional stainless steel liner: Help withstand a variety of feedstuffs and prevent rust with the optional stainless steel liner on the VT970 Premium.

•  Upgraded durability: Premium mixers from Vermeer are for high-volume operators that need maximum durability. The VT970 Premium offers the same features of a VT970 but with thicker tub walls, floor and screw flighting.
•  4-point scale with Bluetooth connectivity: The Premium vertical mixers allow operators to view weight readouts from three different places: standard display, smart device via Bluetooth technology or from the additional remote display. The additional remote display helps provide visibility when loading feedstuffs.
